Practice names, addresses and registration status come from the Care Quality Commission directory. Fees come from each practice's own published list and are recorded with the date we saw them. If a figure cannot be confirmed, it does not appear.
Practice fees are taken from the DentalPrices.uk open dataset, August 2026 (London Dental Price Index, licence CC BY 4.0). Narrower variants (“from” prices, child or temporary work) are excluded.
What we show, and what we leave out. We show a fee only if it links to the practice's own fee list. Each practice appears once per treatment, with its lowest published fee. For implants we use the whole-treatment price only, because a bare implant fixture is not comparable. Figures below a plausible minimum for a whole treatment are left out (check-up under £25, crown under £200, root canal under £150), because on inspection these are usually X-rays, temporary or partial items. A borough is shown for a treatment only when at least eight practices meet these rules. Percentiles are linearly interpolated across the shown practices.
NHS charges come from NHS England and are updated each April.
